165th - Heebies

Just thought I'd share a creepy sort of story with y'all.

So, I wanted to purchase a used something and I found a good deal on Craigslist. So I go to meet up with the guy at a Tim Hortons and this HUGE two-hundred-sixty pound fella turns out to be the one I'm supposed to meet up with. The customary small talk.

"Hello."
"Hi."
"I'm Che *it means Six*"
"Jason. You're very pretty."
" - Thank you."
*meaningless conversation continues*
"You're very pretty."
"Thank you. So about the thing."
"Yeah"
*coversation about the something*
"... You really are very pretty."
"I'm sorry. I have to go. It was nice meeting you."
*got the hell out of there*

I had Heebies and Heebies after that and a side of HOLY-SHIT-HE-WAS-GOING-TO-RAPE-AND-EAT-MEs. Lesson learned. Only meet people off Craigslist in very public places and be closer to the exit then they are.

On a vaguely related note. I was checked out and smiled at by a very pretty boy on Saturday night. No, I'm not gay, but to catch the attention of a gay pretty boy is kind of an achievement.

164th - B/W Film

So, this came up today. It made me feel like a dumbass. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thought this though.

When I was around 11ish, I had an epiphany of sorts. It was this: The past [olden times] was not black and white. Film was. So, life was in colour, just captured in black and white. I didn't mention it to anyone but I was reminded of it while watching Pineapple Express tonight.

Don't give me that look. I'm sure others thought that too. Liars.

163rd - Flickn' Twit

We're almost half way through the year. Why am I sitting here in a hoodie? What the hell?

I really have nothing to blog about. Like Nothing! But here I am anyway. Let us trudge along and we'll all get through this and to the other end. Then hopefully we can put this foul business behind us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALEED! Sorry, it's early in the morning and I'm sleepy and lazy and not in any mood to log on to Facebook and steal photos. However, I will post up that video of you laughing from a few years ago in my next blog. So yes, Waleed is now older and getting married soon. I don't know the date. I think it's late this year or next year sometime. Anyone wanna fill that info in?

Recently I joined Twitter - yes, Shiv. That makes me a giant dirty whore. Moving along. - Mostly to support Mome's new show on Fan590. There is one slight problem though. Well, two. One. Every single time I have gone to log in, I've forgotten my password and then have to reset it which is a bit of a process. Also, I'm losing out on awesome potential passwords because I can't remember them. Two. I agree that Twitter is completely self indulgent. Even more so than having a blog about yourself. *ahem* but here's what I don't get. If everyone is so self indulgent on Twitter, giving up to the minute updates of what they're doing, when are they reading what other people are doing? Also, score one to stalkers. To get people to voluntarily post minute by minute updates of their whereabouts and activities. Just brilliant.

I also joined Flickr about six weeks ago. It's become my latest online obsession. Everyone should join Flickr. Everyone. Except Shiv. It's against her religion. Even though she would really like it.
It's sad that I had more to say about Twitter which I dislike and less to say about Flickr, which I like immensely. I even have it on my phone.

Random Updates:
1. I found one of two pairs of track pants. To celebrate this, I went for a run. I didn't enjoy it.
2. All-seeing Cuttlefish won my first 5from Challenge. I was mixed about this since I didn't win but neither did Harley. There is always a silver lining.
3. I'm uncomfortable. I'm not as paranoid as I used to be.
4. I got a replacement car. I'm excited about it. I now drive a rapist mobile.
5. I'm almost done Battlestar Galactica. I've never been more stressed out by a show.
6. I'm a little hungry right now. Somebody should bring me some cereal.

162nd - Relaxing Weekend. Pfftthh!

It's always a good indicator of while direction a blog will go if it starts by mentioning the weather. It's June and it's still cold. I wouldn't bitch up a storm about it but it's not the fun kind of cold. It's cold all day and at night when I want to to be cool, I'm hot and uncomfortable.

Sarah may be on to something when she said this has been turning into a birthday blog. However, the end of May is upon us the over-zealous birthing time of the year has come to an end. That being said.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASMAR!

photo [above] - This is Asmar is typical Asmar fashion, stuffing her face full of everything, a disgusting Triple-Triple and a Red Bull.

This was actually a pretty fun and busy weekend. I do think my parents are a bit miffed with me considering I haven't been home for most of it, unless I was sleeping or that 30 minute detour home I took to use the bathroom.

Friday was busy. Left work late, went and hung out with Asmar, ran some errands.

Saturday morning. Errands, then Wonderland [which was fun], then hanging out, then the fetal position.

Sunday was Asmar's Park Day for her birthday. We played Five Hundred, soccer, football, baseball, Taboo and managed to play dodge-ball. Then we went and gorged our faces with food at Jack Astors. It was tiring, but loads of fun. Then I came home. Fetaled up, put on Two Guys & a Girl and watched way too many episodes before falling asleep. That was my weekend.

Yes, I cam across as a giant cheap-ass but I think people should be fairly proud of me. Saturday, I did a whole bunch of stuff and excluding the cost of gas, I spent two dollars and fifty cents. This included going to Wonderland for which I do not have a season pass. Neat huh?

The headaches haven't subsided much. The fetal position seems to help. Mostly because I then don't have to look at anything. It helps a little.

Best quotes of the weekend:
1. "His head is so hard, it gives me concussions" - Monica discussing her hardness of Emanuele's head.
2. "Come along, Afterthought." - Saira to Scooter, after her mom pays her a compliment and then to Scooter, "You look nice too."
