This is something that I started thinking yesterday while having a wee in the public loo. It touches up on something Iq mentioned in his Wash your Hands blog a few weeks ago.
What the hell put the idea in our heads that your junk is the dirtiest thing you touch all day and must immediately wash your hard right afterward?
On an average day you leave your house, you meet people, you shake their hands, you take public transport, you touch door handles/knobs, you find a penny, you go bowling, go to the gym, have a smoke, eat a hot dog, use your cell phone, drive somewhere, buy groceries, handle money, wave at someone, cough, sneeze, write an email, and so on and then you go to the bathroom, unzip and relieve yourself. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU NOT WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST?!?!
Wash your hands afterward for good measure but if your junk falls off one day because you touched it after you handled some money that was once inside a hooker who specialized in having especially nasty farts on people, don't complain.
Don't be stupid. Wash your hands Before and After. I should do public service announcements.

i have started wash beforehand recently... i just made sense. first of all i take the ttc and that in itself is gross. i also touch multiple keyboards all day -- an they are really gross -- just turn your keyboard upside down and spank it a bit and you'll see why.
it should be noted that guys dont necessarily have to touch their junk while takin a wizz... but wash anyways
who in the world spanks keyboards?? lol
I wash my hands many many times during the day, but that's all part in parcel of being around germy kids all day. And then they come an sneeze right in your face and there's nothing you can do about it. Sigh.

Hand washing is good, ppl should practice it more often. Antibacterial soap however is not so great, regular soap is good enough ppl, you're doing nobody a favour by using triclosan all the time!
I have an OCD thing about hand washing. I will get up in the middle of things just to wash my hands, I can't stand it... like right now...
